ASN Taiwan remove UFC from list

Great things don't last forever. ASN here in Taiwan has been broadcasting the UFC for free and in HD for many months, but this last weekend they pulled the pin without a word......spewin'!

We're hoping they'll get it back, but in the meantime, it's back to catching it when and how we can

UFC 110

A triumph for Sydney, the highlight for Wal and me was the Silva win over the Count Bisping...he needed to be taken down a couple of pegs. Also, the changing of the heavyweight guard is in full swing with the swift and explosive knockout of Noguieira by the up and coming Cain Velasquez. Last but not least, Geelong boy George Sotiropoulos was incredibly impressive beating Joe daddy.

Liddell-Ortiz III possible for UFC 115

 

This 3rd match up is a possibility at the way off UFC 115. Read more here. UFC 109 is set for Feb 6th, but we're getting very excited about the 1st Aussie UFC, UFC 110 in Sydney on Feb 21. The card is absolutely awesome...check it out here

Holyfield makes another crack

Big Francois Botha (above) will take on the evergreen Evander Holyfield on Jan 16 for the vacant WBF title. Let's hope Evander can win this then get on the road back to one of the major titles. If Randy Couture can do it at 47 years old, then so can Evander. Our own Kenny G reckons the secret is his antioxidant supplement that he shares with the legend.

Rashad Evans v Thiago Silva: should be a good fight, but I'm not sure about the quality of the undercard. This UFC could be a bit thin.

Roy v Danny...this Wednesday

Should be an interesting fight this Wednesday evening (Taipei time). The legendary Roy Jones Jnr. takes on Australia's own "Green machine" Danny Green, trying to wrest his world Cruiserweight title. Roy doesn't have this weight division crown and wants it to complete his unique set from middleweight all the way to heavyweight. Here's some commentary...
